She has also appeared in more personal and intimate venues, equally important in her eyes, spreading her message of LOVE.

STROKE of Luck enlightens us on RenéMarie awareness of her Purpose, to be an Ambassador for the Aphasia Family while following in mentor Jerry Lewis’s footsteps to Produce the Stroke and Aphasia Telethon.

Ernest Testa, her father who crossed over on the same date, 23 years later, Easter Morning , April 8, 2012, is now a guiding force from Heaven.

RenéMarie’s Language of Love Foundation strongly feels that there is and always has been a misconception about Strokes. This untimely incident caused by an underlying disease can be prevented by living a healthy lifestyle and successfully treated by knowing the signs...and getting help within a 3 to 4 hour window, saving someone you love, friend, relative, or possibly your own life.

Through the RenéMarie Language of Love Telethon, Stroke Awareness will be brought to the forefront of the news! Together, we are lifting our voices to be heard and changing the face (which in our thoughts mean -- the misconception) of Strokes. ! The mission is to help the world understand, that you can be effected by a stroke in a split second and that will impact your life because it has no discrimination in who it effects".

RenéMarie herself had a Stroke at the age of 26 and suffered from Aphasia, a condition characterized by either partial or total loss of the ability to communicate verbally or using written words. Due to brain trauma, injury or Stroke, a person with Aphasia may have difficulty speaking, reading, writing, recognizing names of objects or understanding what people have said.

The long term vision of ReneMarie Language of Love Telethon is to join the world together in Stroke and Aphasia awareness, reduce the number of Strokes which in turn will reduce the number of deaths and disabilities.
